Welcome to International Knowledge Pool

At International Knowledge Pool, we believe in the power of community and the potential of every individual. Established in 2012, we are an independent, registered nonprofit civil society organization based in Sri Lanka, dedicated to transforming lives and fostering sustainable development. Our journey began with a group of educated, dynamic, and like-minded youth who saw the urgent need for positive change and decided to make a difference.

Our Story

International Knowledge Pool was founded with a vision to address the pressing needs of the people of Sri Lanka. Our founders, who had extensive experience in the development sector, were acutely aware of the challenges faced by marginalized communities. From the very beginning, our focus has been broad and inclusive, spanning various districts and addressing a wide range of issues, including education, health, youth and women empowerment, emergency response, governance, legal aid, and human rights.

Our mission is to contribute to the education of young people through a value-based system, helping build a better world where individuals are self-fulfilled and play a constructive role in society. We are committed to creating an environment where fundamental human rights are respected and protected, and where young people are empowered to become active contributors to their communities.

Our goals are realized through the support of our members, donor agencies, and philanthropists who share our commitment to making a difference.
